The examination pattern for the NEET examination is mentioned below:

- NEET is a multiple-choice question test
- The duration of the examination is 3 hours and 20 minutes
- Language/Medium: English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, and Urdu
- The total number of questions is 200 but the candidates have to attempt only 180 questions.
- Each question carries 4 marks
- Total marks are 720
- Negative marking is applicable. 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
- No marks are deducted for unanswered questions
