The candidates should prepare the NEET Notes for Chemistry while preparing for the NEET examination. Chemistry is necessary for those who want to be admitted to medical and engineering colleges through entrance tests like NEET and JEE. The Chemistry notes should be prepared with the help of the NCERT books with a complete understanding of the concepts. Also, make sure you include all the important reactions in your notes as they are an important part of the NEET notes for Chemistry. The students must check all concepts which are included in the short form in the notes.
The preparation for Biology is important for students who want to study in medical college and prepare for medical exams. The candidates must download the NEET syllabus and prepare the notes accordingly.

Before beginning, students should know the necessary details and components of NEET 2023 preparation.
Learn the NEET Exam Pattern:
The first step is to understand the NEET exam pattern. Three hours are allotted for the NEET exam, which is offline and paper-based. Several adjustments were made to the test format last year.
According to the new design, 180 of the 200 questions on the NEET question paper from the three categories of physics, chemistry, and biology must be answered. Section A and Section B are separated into separate sections for each topic. There are 35 and 15 questions in these parts, respectively. Candidates must try 10 of Section B’s 15 questions. Each accurate response receives four points, while each incorrect answer receives a score reduction of one particular. The Biology subject, which is further separated into Botany and Zoology, bears the most weightage, or 90 questions, compared to Physics and Chemistry, which each have 45 questions. The structure of the NEET 2023 test is shown in the table below.
Section | Number of questions | Total marks |
Physics Section A | 35 | 140 |
Physics Section B | 15 | 40 |
Chemistry Section A | 35 | 140 |
Chemistry Section B | 15 | 40 |
Botany Section A | 35 | 140 |
Botany Section B | 15 | 40 |
Zoology Section A | 35 | 140 |
Zoology Section B | 15 | 40 |
Understanding the NEET Syllabus
It is essential after becoming familiar with the test format. Three topics make up the test, as was already indicated. The NEET 2023 curriculum is the same as the curriculum for Classes 11 and 12. The table below lists some of the crucial points from each segment.
Physics | Chemistry | Biology |
Atoms and Nuclei | Polymers | Ecology |
Current Electricity | Biomolecules | Biology and Human Welfare |
Electrostatics | Surface Chemistry | Environment |
Waves and Oscillations | Chemical Kinetics | Biotechnology |
Work, Energy and Power | Electrochemistry | Plant physiology |
Physical World and Measurement | Periodic table | Reproduction |
Thermodynamics | Redox Reactions | Human Physiology |
Optics | Equilibrium | Classification of Plants and Animals |
Laws of Motion | Thermodynamics | Cell structure and function |
Kinematics | States of Matter | Genetics and Evolution |
Gravitation | Basic Concepts of Chemistry | Diversity in the Living World |
After being acquainted with the NEET patterns and curriculum, students should choose the appropriate books and study tools. There are many NEET preparation books available. However, it’s crucial to select the best ones. Students must choose their books based on various criteria, including price, edition, language, practice resources, contents, and whether or not they are current.

If a student hopes to pass the NEET exam, NCERT books are a need. In addition to the NCERT books, a few of the best books for NEET 2023 preparation are as follows:
Begin Early:
It is essential to begin NEET preparation as soon as possible, preferably after the conclusion of the Class 10 Board test. To achieve thorough readiness, students should prepare for two years accompanying their Class 11 and Class 12 studies. During these two years, kids will have enough time to thoroughly study the sections and subjects, practice, and revise until the test.
Select Coaching as Well as other Preparation Methods:
When determining whether to sit the NEET, applicants must also decide whether to seek coaching or study independently. While it is not impossible to pass NEET without coaching, it does provide regular advice and experience to the level of competitiveness necessary to give a highly competitive admission test such as NEET.
Self-study may also be chosen in the first year, followed by coaching in the second year. Apart from enrolling in a coaching facility, students may also participate in or refer to virtual preparation methods accessible on social media platforms such as Facebook, Telegram, and so on.
Make a schedule:
NEET preparation should be done systematically. Students should make the most of their Exam preparation by setting a plan and adhering to it since they will also be attending universities and have multiple other schools, boards, and other competitive entrances to prepare for and attend. As a result, students should create a schedule that balances all factors, so they do not lose focus on NEET 2023 prep.
Examine Previous Years’ Question Papers:
Referring to past years’ NEET question papers provides students with much-needed exposure to the questions that will be asked in the test, the relevant subjects and chapters, and their weights. Using NEET exam papers from past years serves two goals.
For starters, it is an excellent source of practice; secondly, students will understand the different sorts of questions, themes, and weightage. The NTA, or the test conducting body, distributes the set-wise NEET question papers, which candidates may obtain on Shiksha by registering with their information and contact information.

Understand your strengths and weaknesses:
Aspirants will have an understanding of their strengths & weaknesses after reviewing the NEET test pattern and curriculum. If they cannot discover it on their own, they may take a diagnostic full-length mock exam to see which areas are working well and which are not and then attempt to determine the main reason.
After choosing their strengths and weaknesses, companies should plan appropriately, devoting more attention to the weak areas while preparing the strong ones to avoid losing contact.
Practice well:
Practice is essential in test preparation, regardless of the exam. Aspirants should begin practising after finishing the actual trial. They should not spend long hours practising at first but instead, start with short practice sheets or answer section- or topic-specific questions.
A step-by-step approach would help students gain momentum, and after a few months of NEET prep, they would be able to strengthen their preparation and take full-length mock exams.
Be Self-Assured:
Lastly, self-esteem is the ultimate motivator for a NEET candidate. One must believe that they will pass the test and prepare appropriately. They think they have begun preparations early enough and are on the right track to prepare confidently. They should also maintain a healthy lifestyle and not allow unfounded rumours to distort their thoughts.
