To understand the NEET question paper trend, it is very important for the candidate to solve them first. Those who want to appear for the exam should understand the NEET exam pattern first. Solving the previous year’s paper will help the candidates to understand the type of questions that may be asked in the exam. Here we have enlisted a few points on the benefits of solving the NEET papers. The candidates can refer to them and follow the same.- Make a preparation time-table – Every year, in the NEET exam, there are some chapters from where the number of questions are asked in the test. The preparation time-table should be made in such a way that the initial phase of preparation covers all the high weightage topics. So create a time table in the same manner which covers the syllabus accordingly.
- Improve time management skills to speed up the paper-solving ability – According to the NEET paper pattern, the candidates need to solve 180 questions during the 3 hours of exam duration. In such a case, the candidates will have to select 180 questions from the given 200 questions. To complete the test in a given time interval, make sure you work on your speed and accuracy.
- Use a timer while solving the paper- The candidates should always use a timer while solving the questions. So, if you are practising with the sample papers or mock tests, make sure that you are using the timer. Try to solve the paper in the duration of the same as it will be in the exam, suppose the NEET exam timings are from 2 to 5 PM, then attempt the test at 2 pm only.
- Preparation Analysis and Performance Evaluation – The candidates who are preparing for the NEET exam can solve the mock tests and previous year question papers for better preparation. Once they spend their time over solving the mock test then they can start the analysis part. NEET mock test will help the candidates to prepare well and it will strengthen their subject knowledge and concepts.
- Get a proper understanding for the NEET exam pattern – The candidates need to understand the NEET exam pattern first along with the syllabus. Solving the previous year’s paper will help you to get a better understanding of the paper pattern and question weightage. With the help of this, the candidates can work on their weaker areas and do more revisions for stronger ones.
