Still confused. By Birth: Both parents should be indian citizens. So I go on a trip, marry a foreigner and get her to India, does that imply my kid will not get citizenship unless my wife becomes Indian citizen?

No,the kid gets Indian citizenship because as per the constitution of India, those who are born on or after 3rd Dec 2004 are considered citizens of India only if both of their parents are citizens of India OR one of whose parents is a citizen of India and the other is not an illegal migrant at the time of their birth.
