  3. Mandela's autobiography is called 'Long walk to freedom' he was an African American he faced constant discrimination in South Africa This was due to the APARTHEID regime in South Africa APARTHEID- an organized system of discrimination against Black Africans in South Africa

  4. What was the discrimination? Those peo ple could not MOVE FREELY across the They were into townsnips ax They did not have afree choice country were stoppe regarding who they wanted to places was greaty midway and harassed

  5. What did Mandela want to achieve? Mandela strived to achieve EQUAL TREATMENTTO EVERYONE This was not just for Blacks or the coloured Africans, it was for everyone and anyone who was facing discrimination For this, he constnatly campaigned, and was jailed or 20 years

  6. What does 20 years in jail mean? We say very easily that someone was jailed for 20 years. But this struggle of being imprisoned is extremely hard He gave up his young age and all his aspirations of earning money and aving a peaceful family life He was really fond of BOXING- a hobby he could never pursue Listening to music, talking to friends, and even wearing the clothes of his choice- he gave up everything Also, he did not know when he would be released. He was prepared to be in jail for life

  9. She is a revolutionary, who fought for She was inspired by Gandhiji the rights of the people of Myanmaar She was fighting against the MILITARY DICTATORSHIP of U Ne Win Under his rule, people were SLAUGHTERED like cattle, and their basic right to live was under threat
