The JEE exam or Joint Entrance Examination is conducted every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The students appear for this examination to get admission into engineering programs of various premier institutions. Students both in India and abroad appear for this exam. The subjects covered are Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The exam consists of 2 stages namely, JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The exam conducting authority releases a cut-off for JEE Advanced, and only students who score the minimum marks as per the cutoff are eligible to apply for the next stage of JEE.
As the difficulty level of JEE is increasing, candidates should ensure to download the previous years’ papers and solve them. As per the feedback from students who appeared for JEE Advanced 2021 Oct 3 Question Paper, questions from Class 11 and Class 12 were evenly allocated across the Chemistry section. More questions from Class 11 were asked in the Physics segment. The Mathematics section was the most difficult, with greater weightage given to the Class 11 curriculum. The difficulty level of JEE Advanced Paper 1 was moderate. The difficulty level of JEE Advanced Paper 2 ranged from moderate to high. More weightage was given to the class 12th curriculum in the Chemistry portion in paper 2.
