The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) examination every year from the year 2019. Until 2018, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) administered this examination. The subjects that are covered in this examination are Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
The JEE examination is held every year. Candidates from India as well as from overseas compete and appear in this examination. The JEE Main 2021 August 27 Second Shift paper consisted of 90 questions. Every section included ten numerical questions. Candidates are required to answer any 5 out of them (choice is available). The NAT questions do not have a negative marking for wrong attempts. However, there is a negative marking for subject-specific questions if answered wrongly. The overall difficulty level of the questions is moderate.
