Dear Jatin sir, After referring all the websites and blogs, I'm totally disappointed and in a grave dilemma about optional. Since its month of July and hence I need to be started with optional ASAP. Kindly show me the right path whichever optional you will tell me with a particular booklist and baggage, I will follow up that religiously. Moreover, my humble request would be to share your optional strategy and then after daily lecture series so that will be good to ace the subject. As you know that we can somehow compromise with PIB and other slightly less important (as it is relevant in prelims mainly) topics. Please consider the suggestion, as we all know that what we will write that will give cost to us/cost of us. However I am working professional and engineer as profession and don't want to continue with my engineering optional...... Regards Shubham

@Jatin Sir, Jerusalem is already the present capital of Israel. Then why are you saying that Israel and palestine want to shift the capital to jerusalem?
The Jerusalem Law states that "Jerusalem, complete and united, is the capital of Israel" and the city serves as the seat of the government, home to the President's residence, government offices, supreme court, and parliament. BUT, United Nations Security Council Resolution 478 (20 August 1980) declared the Jerusalem Law "null and void" and called on member states to withdraw their diplomatic missions from Jerusalem. The United Nations and all member nations refuse to accept the Jerusalem Law and maintain their embassies in other cities such as Tel Aviv (India currently maintains its embassy at Tel Aviv), Ramat Gan, and Herzliya. So in reality, Jerusalem is not internationally recognized as Israel's capital, even though Israelis treat it so. Hope it clears the confusion!
Thanks for the information:)
sir i am unable to find editorial analysis for july kindly help me out...

The law does not permit abortion if the foetus is over 20 weeks old. The Supreme Court's decision whether a woman should be allowed to abort or not after the 20 weeks period has been on a case- to-case basis. The primary factor that has guided its decisions has been the expert opinion of a ted medical board on the risk it poses to the mother and the child. Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act of 1971 bars abortion if the foetus has crossed the 20-week mark. An exception to the law is made if a registered medical practitioner certifies to a court that the continued pregnancy is life-threatening for the mother or the baby.
