Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is one of the most well-known entrance exams in the country. Candidates desirous of seeking admission to Engineering and Planning & Architecture courses in the elite Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions appear for this examination. In 2019, the JEE Main exam was conducted in two shifts on 9th January.
The exam consisted of three sections, with 30 questions allotted to each subject i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. According to most candidates who appeared for the JEE Main 2019 examination, the easiest section was Chemistry. The overall difficulty level of the paper was high in comparison to previous years’ papers.
