Before theInterview 01. How did you prepare for the interview? Especially college graduation subjects related questions? Read blogs written by earlier year rankers as to how they prepared and followed almost similar strategy. Focused on DAF and current affairs a lot leaving subject revision to be done after mains result. But mains result came unexpectedly too soon and my interview date was also very early (11 March) so didn't get much time to revise graduation subject. And as it turned out this proved disastrousS
Continued 02. Did you attend any mock interviews by coaching classes? How were they similar/different than official interview? Do you believe it is necessary to attend mock interviews? Yes I attended Samkalp. They are not similar but are still quite useful. They are not an absolute necessity but if you can attend a couple of mocks then its always a good thing.
Continued Q3, what did you wear? Some experts say coat is must, some say tie is must, and some say black shoes must. What attire did you pick up? A black suit with black shoes, coat is not must but its better if you wear a tie. Q4. Where did you stay for the interview? What books/material did you bring for the revision before interview? I stayed in my hostel at Delhi University. at Delhi University

Continued Q5. Was your interview on the expected lines of what you had prepared or did they ask you totally unexpected questions? Was it a stress interview? If yes, how did you handle it? They didn't ask unexpected or random questions but since they only asked from my graduation and optional subjects alone leaving hobbies. home state and current affairs completely untouchedthis surprised me No it was not a stress interview. They were asking questions and I was saying "i don't know" with confidence and smile:-P
Continued 06. Any side details about technicalities like make sure you bring xyz document, or you face problem? If you have specs please don't forget to bring prescription from a doctor. A lot of candidates faced trouble because of this Q7. Any word of wisdom/ observations about medical checkup? Keep your BMI under check.
