  2. STATEMENT OF INTENT 1. NITI AAYOG AND ABB NITI Aayog and ABB India signed a Statement of Intent (Sol) to support the Indian government realize its ambitious vision of 'Make in India' through advanced manufacturing technologies that incorporate the latest developments in robotics and artificial intelligence. 2. AREAS COVERED UNDER MOU NITI Aayog will work with ABB across various sectors of the economy, such as the -power and water utilities, -industries like food as well as the heavy industries and the transport (rail and metro) and infrastructure to suggest solutions for digitalization.


  3. MOU 1. INDIA AND DENMARK The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given its ex- post facto approval to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Denmark regarding cooperation in the areas of food safety. -The MoU was signed on 16th April 2018. 2. BENEFITS OF MOU -The MoU will help deepen bilateral ties, mutual understanding and trust, -It will further promote understanding of the best practices in the areas of food safety


  4. MOU 1. INDIA AND TURKEY The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Turkey on trade in poppy seeds to ensure quick and transparent processing for import of poppy seeds from Turkey. 2. PROVISIONS Turkish Grain Board (TMO) shall maintain an online system to enable regulation of export of poppy seeds from Turkey to India. -Quantity of poppy seeds -The exporting companies shall get registered with the TMO


  5. MOU 1. RAILWAYS AND BCL Ministry of Railways and Braithwaite & Company Limited (BCL), a CPSE under the administrative control of the Ministry of Railways, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) 2. SIGNED BY The MoU was signed on May 23, 2018 by Railway Board Secretary, Shri Ranjanesh Sahai, and BCL, Chairman and Managing Director (Additional Charge) and Director (Finance), Shri P.P. Bose. 3. TARGETS As per targets under MoU, BCL has projected Revenue from Operations of Rs. 285 cr and wagon production Rs. 1300 cr.


  6. RAILWAYS AND RCIL 1. MOU -Ministry of Railways and RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RCIL) signed a Memorandum of Uunderstanding (MoU). -RCIL is implementing several Rail projects all over India for doubling, New Line, Electrification, Workshops etc. 2. TAGETS UNDER MOU As per targets under MoU, RCIL has projected revenue from operations of Rs. 1200 crore and several other target regarding CCTV & Wifi at Stations development of Content on Demand (CoD) services on trains etc


  7. RAILWAYS AND IRCON 1. MOU Ministry of Railways and Indian Railway Construction Company, International Ltd (IRCON signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ministry of Railways. -IRCON is implementing several Rail, Road & other construction sector projects in India as well as abroad. 2. TARGETS IRCON has projected revenue from operations of Rs. 4200 cr. and other targets for important National projects like USBRL project, Jogbani - Biratnagar Rail Link, Jainagar Bijalpura, Shivpuri Guna and Bikaner Phalodi Highway Project etc.


  8. RAILWAYS AND MRV 1. MOU -Ministry of Railways signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd (MRVC), -MRVC is implementing Rail projects on Mumbai suburban system under Mumbai Urban Transport Projects (MUTPs). 2. TAGET UNDER MOU MRVC shall spend Rs. 1464 crore towards completion of various suburban projects of capacity enhancement, safety up-gradation and passenger amenities
