  2. FROZEN SEMEN CENTRE 1. BIHAR -To conserve and develop indigenous breeds to increase milk productivity, the Agriculture Ministry will set up a frozen semen station in Maranga, Purnea in Bihar. -frozen semen station in Purnea will be the first state-of-the-art semen production center of the country. -According to Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh, the frozen semen station is being set up at a cost of Rs 64 crore under the Rashtriya Gokul Mission with 100per cent contribution from the Central Government.

SIR WILLIAM MARK TULLY -Veteran British journalist and former BBC India correspondent Sir william Mark Tully has been chosen for this year's Redlnk award for lifetime achievement in journalism. 2. WORk -The lifetime achievement award to Tully is the recognition of his long and outstanding contribution to Indian journalism. Tully worked with the BBC for 30 years before resigning in July 1994. He held the position of Chief of Bureau, BBC, Delhi, for 20 years.
