  2. REMITSCOPE 1. REPORT India was the largest remittance- receiving country in the world, with migrant workers from the country sending home USD 69 billion in 2017, according to a report. 2. RemitSCOPE- THREE LARGEST REMITTANCE COUNTRIES The report 'RemitSCOPE - Remittance markets and opportunities - Asia and the Pacific' said India (USD 69 billion), China (USD 64 billion) and the Philippines (USD 33 billion) are the three largest remittance- receiving countries in the world in 2017.

MAHA-GRHA The Maharashtra government signed an MoU with the Centres Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA) Council to train state PWD officials to rate government buildings 2. IMPORTANCE Maharastra was the first state to sign such an MoU. 3. WHAT WILL BE DONE GRIHA Council under the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, would train PWD's civil and electrical engineers and architects to rate government buildings as per its parameters, an official statement said
