  2. SUPREME COURT 1. CH LD VICTIMS OFSEXUAL ASSAULT The Supreme Court said that a government scheme for rape survivors should include child victims of sexual assault. - 2. BENCH Bench of Justices Madan B. Lokur and Deepak Gupta suggested that the Compensation Scheme for Women Victims/Survivors of Sexual Assault/Other Crimes-2018, proposed by the National Legal Services Authority, include child victims. -


  3. AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION GANG RAPE SURVIVOR The National Legal Services Authority's scheme proposes a uniform payment of five lakh to the maximum of 10 lakh to gang-rape survivors in any part of the country. RAPE/UNNATURAL SEXUAL ASSAULT Similarly, in the case of rape and unnatural sexual assault, the victim will geta minimum of 4 lakh and the maximum of 7 lakh. The scheme proposes a minimum of 7 lakh foran acid attack victim in case of disfigurement offace. The upper limit will be 78 lakh ACID ATTACKS In acid attack cases, if the injury is more than 50%, a minimum compensation of 5 lakh will be given and the maximum will be 8 lakh. .


  4. SOLAR SCHEME FOR FARMERS 1. DELHI The Delhi Cabinet has approved a scheme under which farmers in the national Capital can lease out partof their agricultural land for setting up solar panels for additional income. 2. NAME OF THE SCHEME Underthe 'Mukhyanmantri Kissan Aaye Badhotri Solar Yojna' approved during the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, any farmercan rentout not more thanone-third of his land to a private firm to set up solar panels at a rate of Rs one lakh perannum per acre. 3.OTHERSCHEME The government is also planning to launch the Solar Rooftop Demand Aggregation Program for domestic customers.

SECOND MEETING Ministry of Women and Child Development organised a second meeting of under POSHAN Abhiyan in New Delhi underthe Chairmanship of Vice Chairman Rajiv Kumar, NITI Aayog. was declared thatthe month of September will be celebrated as National utrition Month every year. 2. ANGANWADI CENTRES During the meeting in-principle approval of the guidelines for construction of Anganwadi centres in urban areas/slums under Anganwadi services was also given .
