  2. ISRO 1. THREE CONTRACT The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has roped in three partners to help it assemble 27 satellites at a quick pace over the next three years. 2. URSC URSCU.R.RaoSatellite Centre) signed separate three-yearcontracts with Alpha Design Technologies P Ltd and its six consortium members; with defence public enterprise Bharat Electronics Ltd; and with Tata Advanced Systems Ltd, Hyderabad. 3. THREEWORKSTATIONS URSC unit, ISROSatellite Integration andTestEstablishment orisiTE, will provide three separate work stations forthe three partners.


  3. Maritime affairs Dialogue 1. INDIA JAPAN India and Japan held the fourth round of Maritime Affairs Dialogue here during which key issues related to the Indo-Pacific region and maritime security were discussed - 2. DELEGATION The Indian delegation atthe dialogue, held yesterday, was led by Pankaj Sharma, Joint Secretary (Disarmament and International Security Affairs) in the MEA, while the Japanese side was led by Ambassador Kansuke Nagaoka, Policy Planning and International Security Policy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 3. CONSULTATIONS The dialogue was followed by the seventh round of the India-Japan Bilateral Consultations on Disarmament, Non-Proliferation and Export Control

MOU The Infosys Foundation signed an MoUwith the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL)to build a metro station at Electronic City and maintain it for a period of 30 years. 2. PHASE II METRO LINE The station, part of Phase Il metro line underfrom R.V. Road to Bommsandram, will be named the 'Infosys Foundation - Konappana Agrahara Metrostation' 3. BRIDGE bridge will be built connecting the station to the Infosys campus for the benefit of employees to reach the station

INTERNATIONAL ARMY GAMES 1. 2018 An Indian Armyteam has reached Moscow to participate in the International Army games scheduled from July 28 to August 11. 2.TWO COMPETITIONS India is participating in two competitions includingtheTank Biathlon and Elbrus Ring- which is mountain warfare combat patrol competition in the vicinity of Elbrus Mountain India has been participating in the Army Games since its inception and may be selected to hostthe Army Scout Masters Competition in 2019. 3. ABOUT THE BIATHLON The first international tank biathlon competition was held at the Alabino proving ground in the Moscow Oblast, on 12-17 August 2013. .
