AIRPORT AUTHORITY OF INDIA State-run Airports Authority of India said that it will set up a Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) aimed at "finding indigenous solutions" to meet the challenges posed by the growing air traffic. -CARO will be set up at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad. 2. UN BUDGET APPROVED The Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budgetary) of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has approved US $6.69 billion dollar budget for 13 peacekeeping operations for year 2018-19.

ANJU KHOSLA -At 52, she has just become the oldest Indian woman to complete an Ironman Triathlon - one of the toughest one-day sporting events -completed it in 15 hours, 54 minutes and 54 seconds. 2.
