  2. NATIONAL AI MISSION 1. TIMELINE A Task Force on Artificial Intelligence (Al) for India's Economic Transformation was constituted on 24th August 2017. The Task Force gave its report on 19th January 2018. It has recommended an Inter- Ministerial National Artificial Intelligence Mission to actas a nodal agencyfor coordinating Al related activities in India Meet of Committee of Secretaries held on 8th February, 2018 -2. NITIAAYOG NITI Aayog has prepared and placed on its website on 4th June 2018 a discussion paperon National Strategy on Artificial Intelligence Healthcare, Agriculture,Education, Smart Cities and Infrastructure, Smart Mobility and Transportation. .

MEDIA BANNED - In a first, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has issued an orderto not allow access to media personnel inside the Vidhana Soudha- the state assembly building. 2. ENCLOSURE FOR MEDIA enclosures will prevent access of journalists inside the state assembly, and, instead allow the ministers and other officials of the Secretariat to address the media, whenever they intend to. 3. REASON CITED frequent visits by media personnel disturbthe work routines of ministers and officials. Frequent questions by press personnel changethe state of mind of ministers and officials, thus affecting their work


  4. Conference of female parliamentarians 1. DUBLIN Ireland will hold an international conference of female parliamentarians in the month of September. 2. ORGANISED BY by the Irish Women's Parliamentary Caucus (IWPC), a cross-party forum for female parliamentarians within the Irish parliament, the conference will be held at Dublin Castle on September9-10. 3. NAME Named "The International Congress of Parliamentary Women's Caucuses" the event will be attended by an estimated 300 delegates from over 27 countries and regions

AGAINST PM The Congress has submitted a notice to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan for a privilege motion against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. 2. WHAT IS A PRIVILEGE MOTION When any of rights and immunities are disregarded, the offence is called a breach of privilege and is punishable under law of Parliament. 3. RULES Rule No 222 in Chapter 20 of the Lok Sabha Rule Book and correspondingly Rule 187 in Chapter 16 of the Rajya Sabha rulebook governs privilege
