PROCESS After completion of master planning, detailed preliminary engineering and approval of National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) Government of India releases funds for projects for development of industrial corridors. . 3.FOURNODES Four nodes namely: Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Kankipadu-Gannavaram and Yerpedu-Srikalahasti of Andhra Pradesh, have been identified for development
POCSO 1. MALE CHILDREN The Women and Child Development (WCD) Ministry is setto move a proposal before the Cabinet this week for enhanced punishment in cases of sexual assault of male children. 2. ACT The Law Ministry has cleared the proposal to amend the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, for enhancing punishment in cases of sexual assault against young boys. 3.GENDER NEUTRAL The move is being seen as an effortto bring in a gender-neutral law while dealing with cases of sexual assaults.

RTI ACT AMENDMENT - 1. AMENDMENT TO THE ACT notice of intention has been given to introduce The Right to Information (Amendment) Bill, 2018 in the Rajya Sabha for consideration and passage during the current session of Parliament. 2. REGIONAL RAIL TRAINING INSTITUTE 1. RRT In a bid to strengthen the expertise and capabilities of the employees of North-Eastern Railways, Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha on Sunday inaugurated Regional Rail Training Institute (RRTI) at Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur. 2. AIM Modern training facilities to railway employees - The institute, built with the cost of Rs 21 crore, is equipped with modern training facilities, an advanced model hostel, computer room cafeteria and other necessary facilities.
TREADWILL 1. IIT KHARAGPUR The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, has developed an online tool, TreadWill, to help people cope with issues related to their mental health. 2. ABOUT THE WEBSITE TreadWill is a website designed to help people deal with stress, low mood, lethargy and other depressive symptoms through different online exercises, questionnaires and games It is based on cognitive behaviouraltherapy (CBT) that helps people with depressive symptoms. 3.
