Apart from the use in fertilisers, phosphoric acid is also useful for various cleaning products such as detergent. It can also be observed that the dilute solutions can give a fairly acidic sense of taste, therefore, enabling individuals to use it as a food additive. Phosphoric acid can also be naturally found in diverse fruits. The list of phosphoric acid uses also includes them being used for the purpose of proofing rust, metal coating as well as engraving. Phosphoric acid can also be used for treating lead poisoning since it can lower the blood ph. It can be said that phosphoric acid serves various purposes such as use in dental cement as well as in the textile industries.  Lastly, regarding the uses of phosphoric acid, it can be said that the majority of phosphoric acid’s consumption is in the manufacturing of salts of phosphate. 

The phosphoric acid hazards

Phosphoric acid can impact one in case they breathe it in. If an individual breathes phosphoric acid then they may face irritation in the nose, lungs as well as throat. One may begin to cough and wheeze. It can be explained as a corrosive chemical that can lead to irritation and a burning sensation in the eyes. Lastly, in case of longer duration if an individual is exposed to the phosphoric acid then they may face crackling as well as drying of the skin. Thus, these were a few of the phosphoric acid hazards.
