Students need to follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for JEE (Main):
- Register online using your email id and contact number
- Fill out the online application form
- Note down the system generated application number
- Upload scanned images of all the required documents
- Pay the fee using SBI/HDFC Bank/ICICI Bank/Canara Bank/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of the fee paid
JEE Advanced Application Process
Candidates must register before appearing for JEE (Advanced). Applicants who have qualified JEE (Main), need to follow Procedure A. Candidates who successfully registered for JEE Advanced 2020 or 2021, but did not appear in both the papers of either JEE Advanced 2020 or 2021 are eligible to appear for JEE 2022 Advanced directly. They have to follow Procedure B for registration.
Procedure A:
Log in using the JEE (Main) credentials and follow the steps mentioned below:
- Step 1: Log in using JEE (Main) 2022 and provide basic data and the choices of the cities of the examination
- Step 2: Upload scanned images of all the required documents
- Step 3: Pay the registration fee as applicable and keep a copy of the fee receipt
Procedure B:
Candidates who can directly appear for JEE (Advanced) will have to log in using JEE (Main) previous years credentials. Follow these steps to register:
- Step 1: Log in using JEE (Main) 2020 or 2021 credentials and provide the basic data and choice of cities
- Step 2: Upload the required scanned documents
- Step 3: Pay the registration fee as applicable. Keep a copy of the fee receipt for future reference
