PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a central government-organized scheme that provides 100% assurance of providing a certain amount of funding to landholding farmers’ families. This scheme came into force on 24th February 2019. In simple words, The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a central government scheme that has decided to provide an amount of Rs 6000/- money support every year to marginal landholders and small farmers. This scheme usually aims for 125 million farmers in the country irrespective of their land holding status in the country. The scheme was launched by PM Narendra Modi’s government. 

Benefits Included in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 

The benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are as follows: – 

  •  As per the PM Kisan scheme, the landholding farmer’s families will get Rs 6000/- every year in all total three instalments, Rs 2000/- per instalment in every fourth month
  •  The families must include members such as minor children, the head of the family, and the wife
  • The determination of families who are eligible for this scheme will be done by the state government and UT administrators
  • The funds are directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries

Eligibility Criteria for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

  • All institutional landholders are not provided with this opportunity of registering for the scheme and they are not eligible for this PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Scheme
  • The farmer families who are connected to the categories mentioned in the following parts are also not eligible for the PM Kisan Scheme
  • Farmer families related to former and current holders of Constitutional posts are not eligible for acquiring this scheme
  • Families of farmers connected to the current members of Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha/ current state/ central ministers, state legislative assemblies’ members, state legislative council, current mayors of the municipal corporation, and chairperson of district panchayats all will not be eligible for this scheme
  • If farmer families are related to servicing or retired officials, Employment in state and central government sectors, Employees of the autonomous institution affiliated with the government will not be eligible for registration in the scheme
  • Farmers connected to All retired government officials getting pensions of about 10,000/- per month will not be eligible for enjoying the benefits of this scheme
  • All those people who paid income tax last year are also in the not eligible category. 
  • Professionals like lawyers, doctors, teachers, engineers, accountants, architects, and those who are involved in other professions come in the category of not eligible for the scheme

Steps to Apply for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 2022

The steps of applying online for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 2022 are as follows: 

  • The first and foremost step is to visit the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Scheme @ www.pmkisan.gov.in 
  • Then a home page will appear to click on the farmer Option on that homepage
  • After that, a new page will appear on the computer screen then click on the new farmer registration option
  • Then a new registration form will appear on your computer screen
  • Then fill in all required details and document images of yours in the registration form including your Aadhar number, phone number, and personal details
  • Then click on the submit button
  • After you click on this button your registration form will be submitted successfully and you can get a printout of it from a nearby cyber cafe

Documents Required for Registration 

  • A farmer must have at least two hectares of land or field and original documents supporting this statement
  • Bank passbook of applicant
  • A passport size photo of the applicant
  • Voter ID card
  • Identity Card
  • Aadhar card
  • Driving license
  • Full details of the field from the land Revenue department
  • Residential certificate

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana E-KYC 

In 2022, the government of India again has the PM Kisan Yojana E-KYC authentication through Aadhar OTP on the official website of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Earlier this month the e-KYC authentication through Aadhar OTP for the PM Kisan scheme was temporarily suspended, a result of which the farmers were suggested to go for biometric KYC authentication by visiting the common Service centres. But now, the central government has suggested to farmers to get their e-KYC authentication from the online or offline mode to receive their next instalment. People can easily do the OTP-based E-KYC by visiting the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana through online mode. 

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 11th Installment Status 

As per the rules, if a beneficiary has not completed his KYC procedure, he would not get the benefits of the PM Kisan scheme. The government of India has extended the date for KYC authentication to 30 May 2022. As per the reports, the central government has released the 11th Installment cash of farmers who have done their KYC authentication from March 22 to April 1, 2022. Farmers can simply check their 11th Installment Status by visiting the official website of the PM Kisan scheme. 

Steps of Checking PM Kisan Yojana Beneficiary List 2022 

  • The first step is to visit the official website of PM Kisan’s website
  • Then go to the home page and scroll down to the farmer corner option Then go to the beneficiary list 2022 option and click on it
  • Then a new page will open in front of you, check the 11th Installment beneficiary list 2022 by entering an Aadhar card number, phone number, or account number
  • After that click on the get data option
  • After that, the PM Kisan beneficiary list 2022 will appear on your screen
