For admission to the PGDM-C program, the Mudra Institute of Communications in Ahmedabad administers the MICAT test. A particular MBA admissions test called MICAT includes objective and purely subjective questions. The MBA admission exam includes descriptive language exams and psychometric assessments in addition to standard sections like reasoning, verbal ability, and mathematical ability. The CAT/XAT/GMAT ideas should also be clear. MICA, Ahmedabad, has released the selection procedure and timetable for the academic year 2023–25. There will be two stages of the MICAT exam. I. MICAT I and II. The candidate’s top outcomes will be taken into account for pre-selection. MICAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
The candidates who are willing to apply for MICAT 2021 will have to make sure they fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the authorities. Candidates who do not satisfy the MICAT eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Given below are the eligibility criteria for MICAT
- The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- There is no minimum percentage requirement for the candidates.
- Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree can also apply for MICAT.
- There is no age limit for the candidates.

MICAT 2023 Admission Process
- The admission process of MICAT takes place in three stages. The first stage is the Common Admission Test (CAT), the second stage is the MICAT, and the third stage is the GE-PIWAT.
- Candidates who clear the CAT exam are eligible for the MICAT exam. The candidates who clear the MICAT exam are called for the GE-PIWAT.
- The MICAT exam is held online. It has four sections, as mentioned above. Each section has a different time limit.

- Total 2 hours and 35 minutes, the psychometric test is a mandatory test, and the marks obtained in the psychometric test are not considered in the final selection.
- The test is conducted once every year. Candidates can apply for the MICAT exam in online mode only. It is an offline test, i.e., it is a computer-based test.
- Candidates need to solve 100 multiple-choice questions based on topics of English Language, General Awareness, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and Basic Mathematics. Every question carries 4 marks. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
- The candidates who qualify for MICAT need to await the selection procedure. The selection procedure of MICAT includes Group Exercise, Personal Interview, and Written Ability Test. The candidates who qualify in all the processes of the selection procedure will be shortlisted for the program.

MICA Selection Process
Admission to MICA Ahmedabad includes the MICAT or MICA entrance exams, which are held twice a year. It is not mandatory to attend both exams. For candidates who complete both MICAT I and MICAT II, the highest of the two scores will be considered. Shortlisted candidates must enter a final selection round that includes GE and PI.
Step-I: The candidate must take her CAT/XAT/GMAT exam.
Step-II: Those who pass one of the above exams are eligible for MICAT. At MICAT, all candidates are scored as follows: Divergent and Convergent Thinking.
Section C: Written Tests
Step III: Candidates who qualify for GE & PI-CAT/XAT/GMAT and MICAT I & II will complete a Group Exercise (GE) and a Personal Interview (PI). Both must be completed.
GE & PI Shortlist Criteria
Section A of MICAT, the Psychometric Test, is a qualifier.
Psychometrics-qualified individuals are considered baseline minimum relative performance on the CAT/XAT/GMAT. Individuals who qualify for Section A based on their performance on the CAT/XAT/GMAT will be evaluated on their Section B performance by MICAT.
Candidates who qualify for Section B will then be evaluated on their performance in Section C.
Those who have cleared Sections A, B, and C are called to her GE/PI in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
