As a result, a meter is made up of 1000 millimeters. A centimeter is made up of 10 millimeters. One millimeter is composed of 1000 micrometers or 1000000 nanometers. The millimeter is defined by the SI units, which are used in the international system of measures.

How to Convert Centimeter to Millimeter?

To convert a centimeter to millimeter, all you have to do is multiply the number of centimeters by 10. For instance, if you want to convert 5 centimeters to millimeters, you would just multiply 5 by 10 and get 50. So, therefore 5 cm is equal to 50 mm. This works because there are 10 mm in every 1 cm. Solution:

We know that 1 cm is equal to 10 mm.

To convert 95 cm to mm, multiply 95 cm by 10 mm. 

On multiplying, we get-

95 cm = 95 x 10 mm

95 cm = 950 mm

Therefore, 95 cm is equal to 950 mm.

Example 2: Convert 121.11 cm to mm.

Solution:

1 cm = 10 mm

Therefore, 121.11 cm = 121.11 x 10 mm 

121.11 cm = 1211.1 mm

Hence, 121.11 cm is equal to 1211.1 mm.

Example 3: Convert 976 cm to mm.

Solution:

As we know, 1 cm = 10 mm

To get the value of 976 cm in mm, multiply 976 by 10.

On multiplying, we get-

976 cm = 976 x 10 mm

976 cm = 9760 mm

Therefore, 976 cm is equal to 9760 mm.
