In the U.S., the acre is a legal measure. The international acre and US survey acre differ by two parts per million (see below). Acres are used to measure land.
Several current and former British Commonwealth nations utilise the acre by tradition. In a few countries, it remains legal, although not in the UK since 2010 or Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa since the 1970s. In many cases, it is still legal to “use for commerce” if presented as supplemental information and not utilised for land registration.

We know the formula for converting acres to square metres is

The formula for converting acres to square metres is as follows:
