Art and culture are important aspects of human history and evolution. It helps students understand the diverse cultural heritage of our country. The history of art is divided into three parts:

1) Performing Arts

2) Visual Arts

3) Literary Arts.

Performing arts comprises dance, music, theatre, and puppetry, visual art includes architecture, sculpture, and painting. Literary art encompasses pre- and post-Vedic literature, medieval, and modern literature of India. The cultural studies also include the history of religion and philosophy in India.
