The excretory system is regarded as one of the main parts of the human internal system that helps to remove all the waste materials from the body. Therefore, a person can be able to live their life in a proper way by removing all the waste elements. There are some parts that are included inside this internal system that helps to create body waste as well as to remove it properly from the human body to keep it healthy.
Overview of Human Excretory System
The Human Excretory System is one of the basic processes that can be found inside every human body regardless of their gender. There are different types of excretory systems observed for males and females but the organs are the same for both female and male bodies. Various physiological and chemical processes are included inside this system that helps to remove the waste elements from the body. This process is complex in nature and is related to the overall digestive and metabolic processes of the human body. The chemical system inside this process helps to produce various toxic substances inside the body and the physiological system helps to remove them in a proper time period. There are two kidneys, two Ureters, one urinary bladder and one urethra that can be found inside this system that helps to conduct the overall process of excretion.
Organs inside Excretory System and functions
Kidneys
There are two kidneys that can be observed inside every human body and it is one of the key organisms inside the human body. These kidneys are placed inside both sides of the human spine that are placed opposite sides of the lever. The kidneys are shaped as beans which conduct the main functions of the Human Excretory System. The main function of a kidney is to filter the blood that runs inside the human body to create urine. The waste elements are removed from the blood every minute and then, extra water is added to this wastage to make the urines. The work process of a body can be affected if there is any problem seen inside the kidneys. Extra fluids inside the body can also be removed by Kidneys by the extraction of various acids. Therefore, it is an important element of the excretory system diagram. Nephrons and glomerulus are the essential elements inside the kidney that helps to conduct this filtration process. A tubule is also seen inside the kidney that maintains all the functions and the wastes go through Renal Artery to the Ureters. On the other hand, the filtered blood goes to the body through renal veins.
Ureters
There are two Ureters that can be seen inside the Human Excretory system that helps to carry the urine to the Urethra in a downward process. These are two main two tubes that connect kidneys and Urethra. However, if there is a blockage seen inside these tubes then they can harm the kidney and overall excretion system. The worst process that can be seen in this context is the damage of kidneys inside the human body. These ureters are located in the abdomen part of the body and the size of each ureter is 20 to 30 cm.
Urinary Bladder
The urinary bladder is located behind the pubic bone of the body and it is a sac that stores all the urines that are created inside a body. This organ helps to control the overall urination process and to make it infrequent. Almost 500 ml of urine can be stored inside a Urinary Bladder and the muscles inside the bladder squeeze during the time of urine extraction. The size of the Urinary Bladder can be different in the context of a male and female body. The types of muscles inside this organ also play a key role in this process of urination and their sizes and masculinity differ in females and males. The male Urinary Bladder is more muscular than the female one as the male body has a penis that extracts all the urines in this excretion process.
Urethra
The Urethra is the main organ by which the urine departs the body of a human. The male body and the frame body have different types of Urethra inside their Excretory system diagram. The size of the Urethra is different inside a male body, a female body as the male body has a penis, and a female body has a vagina as its main excretory organ. 8 inches is the overall size of a male Urethra and the female Urethra has the size of 1.5 inches.
Functions of excretory system
In brief, followings are the prime functions of human excretory system:
