The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) conducts the Common Admission Test (CAT). It is a computer-based MBA entrance test for admissions to the IIMs and other prestigious B-Schools in the country. The CAT Admit Card 2023 will be released sometime in the last week of October 2023. The examination is expected to be conducted on 26th November 2023.

How to Download CAT 2023 Admit Card?

Students must follow the steps mentioned below to download the CAT Admit Card

Step 1 – Visit the official website – www.iimcat.ac.in 

Step 2 – Click on the Registered Candidate Login link

Step 3 – Now, enter the CAT login credentials – user ID and password.

A pop-up page will appear mentioning that the CAT application form has been successfully submitted. 

Step 4 –Click on the Close tab.

The dashboard will open. Complete information about the candidate will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5 – Click on the CAT 2023 Admit Card link

A new window will open mentioning the shift time and the test centre

Step 6 – Click on Download Admit card

Step 7 – The Admit card will be downloaded to your system

Step 8 – Check the details mentioned in the Admit card

The following details will be mentioned in the CAT Admit Card

• Name of the candidate

CAT Exam Day Instructions

• Candidates should reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam
• Candidates should carry 2 copies of the CAT Admit Card
• The photograph and signature on the admit card should be visible
• The photographs and IRIS will be verified at the entry of the test centre
• Affix a photograph on the area provided in the Admit card. It should be a copy of the same photograph that was uploaded while applying for the exam
• Candidates should carry pens and documents related to the exam. No other item is permitted
• The writing pad provided for rough work must be returned after the exam 
• Candidates must sign the attendance sheet
• Candidates with pacemakers or metal implants should carry a medical certificate mentioning this
• After the completion of the exam, the candidate should hand over the signed Admit card to the invigilator. 

CAT Exam Centres 2023

The address of the examination centre is mentioned on the CAT Admit Card. This year the exam will be held in 159 cities and candidates are allowed to choose at least 6 cities according to preference. 

Locate CAT Test Centre through Admit Card

The IIMs have this year introduced a new feature in the CAT Admit Card. A Google map link is provided which can help Candidates locate the examination centre easily. Follow the below-mentioned steps to avail of this facility

Step 1 – Download the CAT Admit Card 2023

Step 2 – Click on the Google map link provided in the Admit card. You will be directed to google maps

Step 3 – Click on the Directions option

Step 4 – Enter your starting point and select your mode of transport

Step 5 – The map showing your exam centre will appear

Step 6 – Follow the directions to reach the location.
