We all are aware that cancer is spreading day by day in people. The issues or diseases arising within the people are increasing with time more with cancer. Cancer is the primary disease that has its different types. And it is a must that a person can consult with his doctors on time for taking the proper treatment of cancer. Mainly, cancer is a disease formed by abnormal cells in the body. And it gets spread in the body at a very significant rate. 

Here, we will discuss how one can prevent themself from cancer. Or we will discuss the different types of cancer. The types of cancer notes will help you to get everything in detail.

What Does The Term ‘Cancer’ Stand For?

Abnormal uncontrolled cell division in any part or tissue of the body causing its extra growth, is called Neoplasia or tumour. Neoplasm is defined as the abnormally growing mass of cells.  According to their nature and effects tumours are of two types :- (i) Benign and (ii) Malignant (cancer).Oncology — Study of cancer.

Other  Features  Of  Cancer  Cell

 Cell division is uncontrolled in any part of the body.  Generally detected in the metastatic (or 2nd stage) stage. Loss of contact inhibition.  Highly complex in nature, no certain cause can be attributed. Occurs primarily due to wrong expression of genes, the oncogenes formed from protooncogenes which are responsible for the normal growth and maintenance of all cells.

  • Virus also cause cancer
  • Chemicals are carcinogens e.g.
  • Soot – lung
  • Coal tar (3, 4-benzopyrene) – lung, skin
  • Cigarette smoke (N-nitrosodimethylamine) – lung
  • Asbestos and Mustard gas – lung
  • Nickel, Chromium compound – lung
  • Diethylstilbestrol (DES) – Uterus
  • Aflatoxin and Vinyl chloride (VCM) – liver
  • Cadmium oxide – prostate gland
  • 2-naphthylamine, and 4-aminobiphenyl – Urinary bladder.

What Are The Types Of Cancer?

The name is generally coined by adding the suffix ‘oma’ to the type of tissue it affects.

Carcinoma – Epithelial tissue (ectodermal and endodermal origin)

Sarcoma – Connective tissue (mesodermal origin).

Leukaemia – Blood cancer. 

Lymphoma – Lymphoid tissue

 Teratoma – Ovary, testis.

Melanoma – Cancer of pigment cells of the skin

Adenoma – Cancer of glands

 Myoma – Cancer of muscle tissue

Glioma – Cancer of glial cells of CNS.

Other Cancer Type

Breast Cancer

One primary type of cancer is breast cancer. It is a type of cancer that is becoming very popular among the women of India. The cancer disease occurs in the breast when some of the present breast cells get abnormal. The cells start to spread in the breast of a female at an incredible speed. It starts to form lumps and masses. 

Cervical Cancer

Another type of cancer is cervical cancer. The cervical Cancer stage will take time to develop in the human body. The cervix cells will go under dysplasia when there are chances of maintaining the cervix cell in the human body. The body cells will start to disperse in the whole body when cancer occurs. The cervical type of cancer is uncommon in children

Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer is a type of cancer in which the leading causes are chronic health and tobacco. It is due to the presence of chemicals that, as a result, will cause bladder cancer in the human body.

Eye Cancer

The excess amount of sunlight or UV rays will become the main reason for cancer. A person who has light eyes will have more chances of getting cancer.

Kidney Cancer

The most common type of cancer is kidney cancer. It is a type of cancer that occurs in the whole body. Some common cancer symptoms are body ache, headache, blood in urine, loss of appetite, etc.

Liver Cancer

Many signs will help you know that you suffer from it when you have liver cancer. The common symptoms of liver cancer are headache, weight loss, loss of appetite, etc.

Lung Cancer

Lung cancer is a type that occurs in the human body due to excess take of smoking. It also occurs due to living in an area that has more pollution. 

Pancreas Cancer

To get away from pancreas cancer, you have to eat many raw and green vegetables. Such vegetables are the best part that can keep you away from the chance of more cancer.

Treatment For Cancer

Surgery; Radiation therapy; Chemotherapy

Gleevec, a new drug approved in May 2001 for the treatment of Leukaemia and also effective in the cancer of lung, stomach and prostate.

A plant Catharanthus (or Vinca rosea) also called as Sadabahar is the source for vincristine and vinblastine. Cytochalasin B-anticancer drug.

We all are aware that cancer is a disease that spreads quickly into the human body. Types of cancer like eye cancer, bladder cancer, breast cancer, kidney cancer are central parts of cancer. When you are suffering from cancer, you must check that you are taking the proper treatment for it so that the doctors will give you the proper treatment. For each type of cancer, there are different types of treatment. And you must have to take all the treatment according to the prescribed by the doctors.
