As you may be aware, the main purpose of the National Health Mission is to reduce infant and maternal mortality rates while also delivering high-quality care to pregnant women and children across the country. The Department of Health and Family Welfare established the RCH notes and RCH portal for this reason. This portal will collect data on family planning, maternal health, child health, and immunization. This website goes over every aspect of the RCH Portal 2022. RCH-Reproductive and Child Health

RCH is an acronym for Reproductive and Child Health. It is a programme that began in October 1997 with the intention of combating and decreasing maternal, neonatal, and child mortality rates. During the first stage of the programme, there was a set of objectives which are also called the RCH Training Norms that had to be met, and they were as follows:

  • Improving policy administration and supervision through the use of a participatory design process that enables organisations to make the greatest use of project resources.
  • To enhance the current quality, coverage, and efficacy of Family wellness programmes.
  • To gradually increase the breadth and coverage of family welfare services in order to provide a full package of RCH assistance.
  • Expand the scope and content of existing family welfare wellness programmes to incorporate additional components.
  • Preference should be given to rural areas of cities or districts in order to increase the quality and infrastructure of FW services.
  • To some extent, the consequences of this stage of RCH notes were both positive and negative. RCH-II is the RCH’s second stage. Its aims are as follows

Set Location in RCH Portal

To enter Asha and ANM data into the RCH portal, follow the steps detailed here. Please keep in mind that in order to have a login password for RCH notes Data Entry online, you must be a government official. After you’ve completed these steps and logged in to the portal dashboard, you can begin the online data submission process.

How can I configure the Data Entry Location in RCH Portal?

  • Log in to the rch.nhm.gov.in website.
  • Now choose the Set Location option.
  • Create a data entry structure.
  • Considered Districts
  • Select either award or a health block.
  • Select a type of medical facility.
  • Choose your PSC.
  • Choose a sub-center or sub facility.
  • Select your village.
  • Choose the Set option.

About RCH Portal 2022

The Department of Health and Family Welfare developed the RCH Portal. This platform will collect information on family planning, maternal health, child health, and immunisation. To ensure that pregnant women and children throughout the country receive high-quality care. This information will aid in the reduction of baby and mother death rates. Individual beneficiaries will be identified early and followed throughout the reproductive life cycle utilising this website.

Aside from that, this platform may be used for prenatal, postnatal, and delivery care, as well as tracking newborns for full immunization. This site meets the standards of the RMNCH programme by providing family planning services, quality and full AMC, and notifications to ANM beneficiaries and health managers.

Ans. The Reproductive and Child Health project is a comprehensive sector-wide flagship effort under the supervision of the Government of India’s National Health Mission focused at accomplishing the RCH objectives of reduced mother and newborn mortality and overall fertility rates.

(iii) Increasing public knowledge of the advantages of breastfeeding. (iv) Raising awareness about sex abuse and sex-related offences.

Ans. Around the age of 12, women begin to get their first menstrual cycle. Period cycles may be erratic at first, but they should grow more regular in the next few years. If a woman is sexually active and does not want to become pregnant, she must use contraception.

Ans. Family Planning is the process of having as many children as you want, when you want them, using modern, safe, and effective methods. Birth spacing is described as having children 3 to 5 years apart, which is optimum for the health of the woman, her kid, and the family.

Ans. Once the pre-registration is complete, an SMS will be issued to the specified cell phone number. The pre-registration data will be forwarded to the relevant Village Health Nurse / Urban Health Nurse, who will contact and register the mother. After completing the registration process, the mother will be issued an RCH ID.
