Temperature and Pressure-Atmospheric Pressure

The concept of temperature and atmospheric pressure deals with measuring the air pressure of the earth in relation to the land.

The notion of temperature deals with measuring the physical quantity, which would provide information regarding the hotness and coldness of the atmosphere. The concept of temperature helps to measure the hotness and coldness of the weather condition. The concept of atmospheric pressure could be described as a force that is influenced by the weather condition of the place. The relationship between temperature and atmospheric pressure is directly proportional. The atmospheric pressure of the place influences the aspect of the atmosphere of a place. The temperature of a place is mainly the average measurement of the kinetic energy of that place.

Atmospheric pressure

The idea of atmospheric pressure differs according to the structure of the land of a particular place. The other names of atmospheric pressure are air pressure and barometric pressure. The weather and climate of a place are majorly dependent on the atmospheric pressure of that place. The relationship between atmospheric pressure and wind is directly proportional to each other. The total measurement of the accumulated force that is exerted upon the surface with the help of air is known as atmospheric pressure. The atmospheric pressure increases towards it and comes closer with the contact of the surface of the earth. The motion of the air is responsible for the changes that take place within the atmospheric pressure of a place. The expansion of air and the contraction of air determine the level of the atmospheric pressure of a place. The heating and cooling effect of the air causes differences in the atmospheric pressure condition of a place. This would help to evaluate the effect of the climatic condition of a place.

Cause of atmospheric pressure

The gravitational force of the Earth causes the atmospheric pressure. The force, which is exerted on the surface, becomes active due to the gravitational pull of the earth. The atmospheric pressure of a place changes according to the structural condition of the land. The weight of the air, which exerts a force on the atmosphere, is commonly known as the atmospheric condition of the place. The force of the air keeps on increasing as the air moves towards the surface of the Earth. The cause of atmospheric pressure is totally determined by the fall and rise of the pressure, which is exerted by the force of the air. The movement of the air from the high-pressure zone to the low-pressure zone determines the atmospheric pressure of the place. The most influential reason behind the cause of the atmospheric pressure is the change in the aspect of elevation. The relationship between the air molecules and the elevation is directly proportional which determines the level of the atmospheric pressure.

Parts of atmospheric pressure

The atmospheric pressure consists of two parts, which are as follows such as high-pressure condition and low-pressure condition. The area, which faces light wind conditions generally, provides high atmospheric pressure. The high atmospheric pressure generally gives out a compression heating effect. The temperature of the place increases which faces high atmospheric pressure conditions. The long wave radiation of the areas does not get absorbed which faces high atmospheric pressure. The atmospheric pressure generally has the tendency of swirling in the other way in comparison with the low-pressure conditions.

The area, which faces less pressure from the sea level, is commonly known as the low atmospheric pressure area. The reason for the low atmospheric pressure generally indicates that the landmass gets heated. The aspect of monsoon circulation is created in the areas of low atmospheric pressures. The weather condition of the places is determined by the level of atmospheric pressure. The atmospheric pressure of a place indicates the air pressure of that place. The increase in the level of air pressure indicates more clearance in the weather condition of that place. The decrease in the level of air pressure indicates less clearance in the weather condition of that place. The weather condition of a particular place is majorly determined by the condition of the atmospheric pressure of that place.

Effects of atmospheric pressure and temperature

The relationship between the atmospheric pressure and the temperature of a place is directly proportional to each other. The temperature of a place increases as the atmospheric pressure of that place rises. On the other hand, the temperature of a place decreases as the atmospheric pressure of the place falls. The temperature in the weather condition of a place increases as the heating effect of the air pressure rises to a high level. When the molecules in the warm air become light then the warm air expands causing less force. The opposite effect takes place when the temperature level of a place decreases to a low level.

Conclusion

This assignment could be concluded by stating that the notion of atmospheric pressure plays a crucial role in the pathway of determining the weather and climatic conditions of a particular place. The gravitational force of the surface of the earth is the major influential factor behind the rising and fall of atmospheric pressure. The condition of atmospheric pressure helps to determine the exact weather condition of that particular place. The warm effect and the cooling effect of air are also dependent on the level of atmospheric pressure.
