he Tropic of cancer lies at the latitude of approximately 23 degrees and 27 inches north of the terrestrial equator.  It further corresponds to the northernmost of the ecliptic of the Sun to the celestial equator. The lines of the tropic of cancer passes through various countries. In addition, the equator is a proper imaginary line that divides the earth into two halves equally. Moreover, the earth revolves around the sun. It only occurs during the summer solstice on the date of 21st June and in time of solar isolation, it grounds on a peak in areas near this tropic of cancer. 

Tropic of cancer affects the climate

The tropic of cancer affects the climate of India and in which it runs and lies through the middle of India. Moreover, all areas which are close to the south and also with this tropic of cancer are mostly close to the equator and experience too high temperatures. Apart from this, the northern part always lies with warm temperatures and they also have low temperatures. This cancer mainly passed through some continents from “South America, Africa, and Australia ”. This tropic is passing through some numerous countries and also through some water bodies. Apart from this, “tropic of cancer”also moves from 90° north to 90° south and it also moves through a greatest circle. It sets a minimum temperature on the surface and creates a warm and cooler season most of the time in a year. Hence, in winter it creates a bitter experience in a place of desert which creates numerous difficulties. It also constitutes and plays a significant role in earth in an amount of solar isolation and also creates seasons on a surface. 

Significance of tropic of cancer

 The Tropic of Cancer holds significance for the geography of the Earth as it formulates the northernmost point where the rays of the sun fall directly overhead. In addition, this line forms the northern boundary of the tropics that plays a significant role in establishing an effective map to understand world geography. The boundary of tropics marks the region that extends from the north equator to the tropic of cancer and equator south to the tropic of Capricorn.. More solar energy creates warmth and a season of summer on the surface. It is also referred to as a northern tropic which is mainly used to divide into numerous parts and create a northern boundary over this tropic.
