How to Revise Complete JEE Syllabus in 60 days?

The IIT JEE is one of India’s most competitive and difficult examinations. Through IIT JEE, students can gain admission to the top engineering colleges of India. You can get a B.Tech degree or even a B.Arch degree once you clear the IIT JEE. However, many myths and misconceptions surround the topic of IIT JEE in India. Many colleges and coaching centers offer courses to help students secure a seat in their dream college. That is why lakhs of students appear for this examination every year in India.

Although this examination is very difficult, many aspirants appear for this examination and can crack it. If you have determination and self-confidence and put in hard work, you can crack the examination. Once you secure good marks in IIT JEE, you can get admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) or the National Institute of Technology (NIT).

How to revise the JEE main syllabus in 60 days? 

Although the JEE syllabus is vast and requires a lot of hard work and study, it is possible to get it done in just 60 days. Although the whole syllabus spans over two years or 700 days, if you follow a systematic pattern and manage your time well, you can complete studying and revising the IIT JEE syllabus. 

Assume that you have only 60 days on your hands before the commencement of the examination, then you need to go through the syllabus systematically. There are 65 topics that you need to cover for all the subjects. The most number of topics are in Chemistry, followed by Physics and Maths. It is almost far-fetched and nearly impossible if you want to explore each topic thoroughly before the examination. Hence, you need to work smart here. 

How to revise the IIT JEE Mains maths syllabus in 60 days?

Firstly, you need to list the topics in each subject that carries the most weightage in the IIT JEE. The most important topics are:

  • Trigonometry
  • Matrix and Determinants
  • Probability 
  • Coordinate Geometry 
  • Integral Calculus
  • Differential Calculus 

These topics have the most weightage in Maths. For Maths, you need to cover 16 topics in 60 days. If you want to revise Maths in these 60 days, you should take only 16 days for the subject Mathematics. You need to ensure that you cover 16 topics in 16 days. Make sure that you pay special attention to the important topics with the most weightage.

How to revise the IIT JEE Mains physics syllabus in 60 Days?

You must list the topics or chapters that have the most weightage in the examination. Surely, one or two questions or more will be asked on these topics. These topics are:

  • Optics
  • Simple Harmonic Motion and Waves 
  • Heat and Thermodynamics 
  • Modern Physics 
  • Mechanics 
  • Electrodynamics 

If you pay special attention to these topics, you can pass the IIT JEE with flying colours. Although some of these topics may seem less important to you now, they can help you crack the paper. The total number of topics in Physics is 21. You need to cover at least two topics every day. This means that you can cover the entire Physics syllabus for IIT Mains in 17 days. 

How to revise the IIT JEE mains Chemistry syllabus in 60 days?

Herein, you need to have a clear understanding of all the important topics of Chemistry. These topics include:

Physical Chemistry:

  • Thermochemistry
  • Thermodynamics
  • Mole Concept
  • Ionic Equilibrium 
  • Nuclear Chemistry
  • Atomic Structure 
  • Surface Chemistry 
  • Solid State 
  • Solutions and Collegiate Properties
  • Chemical Kinetics
  • Electrochemistry

Inorganic Chemistry: 

  • S-Block Elements 
  • Chemical Properties in Periodic Table 

There are a total of 28 topics in Chemistry. It is the vastest subject. However, if you give it enough time, you can do it well. You need to complete two topics every day, including Sundays. This will take 14 days out of your 60 days. 

Now, we have divided the entire syllabus of all the subjects. You will realise that the total number of days accounts for 47. This means that you will have 13 days till the exam commences. 

For the next 13 days, you need to re-revise all the topics for a better understanding of the topics. In addition to that, you should also solve various mock tests, practice papers, and previous year’s question papers. 

What is the best time to prepare for the JEE Main exam?

The best time to prepare for the JEE exam should be early morning. Get up early at 4 AM for best results. As per the number of topics, make sure that you complete five topics every day. Divide the day into two shifts and make good use of your time.

Although it may seem highly unlikely that you can cover the topics in 60 days, let us assure you that it is possible. However, it may require a lot of effort from you and your maximum devotion. You need to study every day, including Sundays, without any break. If we consider all the subjects, you need to invest 47 days in all the subjects for a better understanding. Divide your studying hours into two shifts and get up early in the morning for the best results.
