The World Economic Forum (WEF) is just a non-governmental and campaigning group with World Economic Forum headquarters in Cologny, Geneva region, Switzerland.
Klaus Schwab, a German scientist and scholar, started the company on January 24, 1971. The World Economic Forum was founded in 1987 to broaden its mission to create a venue for addressing global problems, and it was formerly known as the European Managing Forum.

Efforts in Africa to encourage entrepreneurship and a retraining revolution are being implemented. Collaborate with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation (OECD) to ensure equitable and long-term growth worldwide.
Conclusion:
For over the years, the World Economic Forum and its annual conference in Davos have indeed been criticised. The taxpayer expense of protection, the group’s tax-exempt identity, confusing decision procedures and participation standards, a lack of economic openness, and the ecological imprint of its regular conferences are among the concerns regarding the meeting and the WEF. In February 2021, the Swiss national govt decided to reduce its yearly donations to the World Economic Forum headquarters in response to pressure from within the Swiss community.
