Liberland

Liberland, officially the Independent Republic of Liberland, is a sovereign state on the Danube River’s west bank, sandwiched between Croatia and Serbia. Liberland has fixed its border with enough space between neighbouring countries to guarantee that this does not encroach on Croatian or Serbian territory. But after the Vatican and Monaco, it is presently the 3rd tiniest sovereign state globally, with a total size of about 7 km2.

Liberland was founded on the principle of self-government by its citizens. Liberland was established with the tacit approval of Serbia, which has relinquished its claim here to the territory, and Liberland does not infringe on another country’s territorial integrity.

Liberland was not conquered by force. This micronation, which has zero headcounts, was founded on April 13, 2015. It is a small country sandwiched between Croatia and Serbia, sharing a border with the former. It was formed as a result of border conflicts between the two nations.

After that, he built a small tower and neighbouring stages for neighbouring countries; he even formed its currency and declared independence on January 19, 1972. The Tongan soldiers arrived shortly after and took down the flag.
