Countries That Moved Their Capital City

In recent history, many countries have moved their capital cities or built new ones; It is a municipality holding the prior chief status in a country or state.

Nigeria ruled the council of the supreme military after 1966. It was also followed by the parliamentary elections that were held in 1979 and after the second election after the section of the Nigerian Republic. The supreme council was located at the Dodan Barracks, and the supreme military headquarters was situated in (SMHQ) in Lagos. 

A constitutional decree was published in Lagos on 17th March 1967, assembly and managing potential tricks in the Supreme Military Council. The head of the military Council was chairman of the council. In the western Pacific Ocean, there is a country named Palau. It lay in the southern Western corner of Micronesia, at the northern east with Guam of 830 miles 400 Guinea new to the north eastern part,  the smashed east,  an enormous bound atoll system, it was a constant allotment on the west which was smashed on the east part, which was encircling more of the archipelago.

History of Palau:

It is located in the Pacific Ocean, occupying an area of 466 square kilometres. It is an Island country which has about 346 Islands, and the country’s house population is about 21,503 as of 2016. 

The capital of Palau is Ngerulmud. It became the capital in 2006, and it was replaced by Koror city, which is the former capital of the nation. It is the former capital of the nation. The formal capital Koror goes with the title of Ngerulmud; it is located on the biggest island of Bebeldabo. 

In 1979, Palau’s constitution stated that the country’s government had to set up a permanent capital on the island of Bebeldabo. Due to the shortage of efficient, professional funds, the progress of making the new capital was quite slow. Hence the new capital city of the government offices moved from Koror to the city of Ngerulmud. 

History of Burma:

Under British rule, Myanmar was granted a certain level of independence in 1936. After decades passed, many Crown colony countries of India established an autonomous colony in Burma in 1937. 

Earlier Burma had its own parliament and its own constitution. The British government has seen the profit and security that invaded Myanmar and also in Burma today. It is a Buddhist country with vast natural resources, which explains the power that bordered India with many valuable countries in the British Empire. 

The founder of Burma, Anawrahta, founded the pagon kingdom 30 years after the establishment and unified the reasons that would become modern-day Burma for the first time. With The change in decisions, the English name changed from Burma to Myanmar in 1989, which resulted in white spread acceptance in the English-speaking world, with some countries that have resisted doing so.

History of Nigeria:

The first planning was done in Africa in the city of Abuja, as it was a federal capital city of Nigeria. It was located in the country centre of Nigeria’s 8 most popular cities and the country’s centre within a federal capital territory.  It was also an essential rule of the continent regarding Nigeria’s administrative and political capital t due to geographical influence in many regional affairs. 

It was also known as Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, building New capital cities in Africa, and it was one of the wealthiest. According to the several references, the planning was to be done by including the applicable data and for the selection of the capital sites of the city for the preparation of regional City plans, which would accompany designing and developing standard manuals.

Conclusion:

It is an awfully appealing thing about the world’s capital that exists amongst it across the world. The capital city depends on the economic, cultural, population or intellectual centres of the nation of countries. 195 countries are already recognised by the UN and depend on the territories that have all their capitals, with some exceptions where the country is itself the capital. In those cases, the country has multiple capital cities. 

News media also makes news on the capital city’s name for the country. Every office has a prominent high court of justice parliament and others which suit the capital cities. The official leaders of those governing bodies work in the capital city. Many more countries have changed their capital cities. For example, we can say that Singapore is in Asia and Vatican City is in Europe.
