TNEA 2022 Counselling – Dates, Procedure, Schedule

The authorities will begin TNEA 2022 counseling. Candidates must participate in the TNEA 2022 counseling sessions according to the timetable provided by the authorities. The shortlisted candidates will be grouped by rank by the authorities. Candidates can check the steps below to learn more about the TNEA counseling process in 2022.

Step 1 – Publication of the list of eligible candidates – The authorities published the list of all potential nominees on the online webpage. Only those listed are able to participate in the TNEA 2022 counseling sessions. 

Step 2 – Fee Payment – All eligible candidates will then be supposed to pay the TNEA 2022 counseling service charge online. Only candidates who pay the fee first before the deadline will be able to take part in TNEA 2022 counseling.

Step 3 – Making selections – After paying the TNEA counseling  2022 fee, candidates must log in to the TNEA portal with their id And password (Same that used at the time of registration). Candidates must select their preferred institutes and courses after successfully logging in. 

Step 4 – Choice Locking – The next step is to lock the chosen options. On the third day following the start of the round, candidates must finally lock their entered choices. After locking, no changes will be permitted. 

Once the decisions are barricaded, a PDF-specific document with the range of suggestions locked by the candidates, along with the generated integrity code, will be sent to their registered email id. The integrity code is aimed at preventing any further changes to the applicant’s submitted choice list.

If a candidate keeps failing to lock his or her decisions within the time limit, the system will do so automatically.

Step 5 – Tentative disbursement – The system will allow the candidates’ tentative seats based on the options they selected. By having to log into their accounts, students will be called to view the provisional TNEA seat allotment.

Step 6 – Submit allotment offer- Following seat allotment, candidates will have the option to accept, decline, or reject the offer.

• If a candidate is given a seat, he or she has the approaches defined: – 
• Take the offer. 
• With upward movement, confirm the offer. 
• The candidate desires to change his assigned seat and take part in additional rounds of counseling, as indicated by the upward movement.
• Turn down the offer in favor of the upward movement. 
• Leave TNEA counseling in 2022.

If a candidate is not assigned a seat based on his or her preferences, he or she has the following features:

•  Choose upward movement.
•  Choose to take part in the next round of counseling sessions based on the vacancy position in the next round.
•  TNEA 2022 counseling should be discontinued. 

Note: If a candidate fails to report any priced tickets within the deadline, his or her seat will be forfeited. Candidates may, however, participate in additional rounds of counseling. 

Step 7 – Final Allotment – The officials will finally allot seats based on the options managed to enter by the candidates. TNEA Seat allotment results are made accessible on the official site. 

Step 8 – Admission – Eventually, candidates who are assigned seats in the ultimate allocation must report to the allotted academy for admission fee payment and seat confirmation. 

If a candidate is not assigned a seat during the TNEA 2022 counseling, he or she may request a refund of the initial payment. The reimbursement will be issued in accordance with TNEA policy.
