The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency or NTA to grant admission to the students in MBBS, AYUSH, nursing, and veterinary courses. NEET UG is the only entrance exam for admission to prestigious medical institutes in India, including the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research. The exam is conducted once a year in pen and paper mode. It is expected to take place in May 2026.
