The transitive phrasal verbs can be divided into many types. One of the types of a transitive phrasal verb is a phrasal verb with an object in two different positions.

  • Transitive verb

(object with a particular location (between the particle and verb)

Some phrasal verbs with a fixed location for the object are known as transitive verbs with fixed locations. In this type of transitive verb, the object must be between the particle and verb.

  • Transitive verb (object witha particular location (after the location of the particle)

If you see a transitive verb after the particle in a sentence, then it is a transitive verb with a fixed location (after a particle). In simple terms, the transitive verb is after the particle’s location.

  • Phrasal verbs with two objects

The phrasal verbs can have two objects in some cases. In simple terms, one object is after the verb in the sentence, and the second object sits after the particle.
