The communication process is an essential part of the coexistence of humanity and the organisation infrastructure. Through this medium, sharing ideas, conditions, information, data, thoughts, etc., takes place with the suitability of time and medium. Therefore a solid communication base is necessary for the growth of any organisation. The directing function of management of the organisation is its communication based on which it takes decisions and works on them. The communication process elements include directing the works of the subordinates and council at each step of the best outcome. 

Process of communication: Definition

Communication is a constant process that exchanges data and information for the betterment of the organisation. It is defined as the medium to exchange the facts, thoughts, and creative ideas by the team of an organisation with a motive of growth and development. It involves factual information about company profits, ideas for strengthening market position, advertisement policies, collaboration proposals etc. 

The process of business communication with practical skills invites many major collaborations and higher investments. It helps the company with internal profits and strengthens the relationship with customers and associate dealers and partners. In many companies, the PR teams are active and handle upfront as the company representative and are an integral part of the company’s management team.

Process:

There are many elements of communication process which work as the medium for sharing the data, statistics and information. It has stages that collectively act to gain personal interest and act on company profits. Below are the detailed descriptions for the process of communication which streamlines the organisational function and management. Below mention:

  • Sender: 

The sender is the source of the communication and prime element of the communication process. From here, any data thought, fact or idea is generated as a message. The receiver receives this message to streamline the further process. 

  • Message:

In this stage of the communication process, the message is determined as an idea, fact, information, feeling that the sender is generating. This message denotes the motive to start the communication further based on this message as a topic.

  • Encoding:

The encoding of the message denotes the graphical representation of the message and is a part of the process of communication. Here, the symbolic representation of the message in pictures, graphics, words, etc., is prepared before further processing.

  • Media:

It is a manner in which the message is conveyed in an encoded message format. The messages can be transmitted in writing and oral format. This medium includes fax, telephone, letters, e-mail etc. the sender decides the choice of medium as per their convenience.

  • Decoding: 

It is the process where symbols of the sender are encoded in a specific format. The receivers enlist this message after the encoding process. The decoding format decides the receivers’ reaction to the message. 

  • Receiver:

This stage is the final element of the communication process. The message travelled to the receiver, and the process is complete when the receiver gets the message.   • Feedback:

Feedback is critical to ensure the receiver has received the message and understands it entirely according to its motive and perspective. It is sometimes included as the process of communication ppt format. 

  • Noise:

This stage may sometimes be a part of the communication process. It is an interruption that resists the completion of the communication process. Weak telephone connection, poor reception, faulty encoding and decoding, wrong interpretation of message etc., are some of the noise creating factors in elements of the communication process.
