NPA is non performing asset i.e. any loan given by a bank on which it is not able to get interest amount.

current affairs is an inevitable part for UPSC. For 2018 you need to study current affairs from today itself. Also, when you are preparing focus more on Mains and hence prelims will be covered simultaneously. Current affairs are important at every phase of UPSC. Study from daily news analysis of The hindu along with editorial analysis. Ncert's are basic you need to cover them simultaneously with current affairs.
