- It is an objective type test
- Examination is conducted in paper-pencil (offline) mode.
- Negative marking is applicable. 1/3 mark for each wrong answer is deducted.Â
The Preliminary examination is qualifying in nature. Candidates securing more than the cut off qualify for the Main exam. The marks scored in the Prelims are not considered for the final score of the examination.
