Physical Geography

Physical Geography deals with the natural environment and studies the processes that shape the Earth’s surface. It includes the study of landform features and processes, rock types, soils, rivers, oceans, weather and climate, and flora and fauna. The main purpose of physical geography is to figure out how the Earth’s physical environment affects and is affected by human activity. Every student studying the planet should have a basic understanding of the physical geography of Earth since it affects resource distribution and human settlement conditions.
