What Is Before Christ?

B.C. was introduced two centuries after Dionysius Exiguus’s A.D. system. There were two books, one is ‘Ecclesiastical History Of English People’ by Venerable Bede and the other book is ‘ Historical Writing Of England c.500. to c.1307. Those books brought the lights on the A.D. system. In B.C., the number is counted backward from the birth of Christ.

Though the concept was proven wrong with modern research, in AD 628, an Indian scholar proved that Zero exists. The concept came to light after! The 1-13th century in Europe. 

Spread Of A.D. And BC

After the ninth century, A.D. and B.C. came to light. The Roman Clergyman and emperor approved them as a dating system, and it spread through the whole of Europe. Almost western Europe adopted the dating system by the 15th century, and the Gregorian calendar was introduced in the 16th, and it became a globally adopted system.
