Introduction
Every year, the Staff Selection Commission conducts a matriculate level exam which is known as the SSC GD Constable. SSC GD stands for Staff Selection Commission General Duty. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) formulates the Recruitment Scheme. The recruitment is done for the posts of Secretariat Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Constable in Border Security Force, National Investigation Agency, Indo Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal and Rifleman.
The candidates are selected on the basis of the results declared in the selection process that consists of a computer-based test, Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test, and Detailed Medical Examination.

SSC GD 2022 Notification
Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the initially announced March 25, 2022, notice was postponed. The SSC GD Constable Exam 2022 will be on 17th July 2022 as per the recent official notification released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). For applying to the SSC GD 2022 test the application form is the initial requirement. This application form must be filled out carefully before submitting it. The candidates in the areas that can apply offline and online for the exam are Jammu and Kashmir region, the North-Eastern States, and LWE-affected places.

SSC GD Constable - Eligibility Criteria 2022
The candidates need to be eligible based on the official announcement for applying to the SSC GD Constable Examination. The eligibility requirements like educational qualifications, age, and physical abilities should be met by the candidate for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2022.
The eligibility criteria for applying for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2022 are
- Educational requirements- At the time of application, the candidates or the applicants must have a grade 10, diploma or equivalent grade from an accredited board.
- Age Criteria- As of August 1 2022, the SSC GD Exam 2022 candidates should be basically between the age of 18 and 27 years. The candidates belonging to the reserved category have the age limit relaxation for the SSC GD Exam 2022.
- Physical requirements- The SSC GD Exam 2022 applicants must meet the minimum physical height and chest measurement requirements before writing the SSC GD Exam.

- The domicile certificate provided should be from the same state that the applicant has specified on the application or else it will be denied.
- The applicants with inappropriate fees submission will not be evaluated and will be rejected.
- Same areas should have different test centre options.
- The candidates can be assigned to any location in India for employment.
- Applicants can confront their concerns and will be given a certain amount of time after the answer keys for the online exam are posted on the Commission’s website.
