JEE Advanced Registration 2022 – Application Form, Fees, How to Apply

On August 7, IIT Bombay will start the registration and application process for JEE Advanced 2022. Application papers for JEE Advanced 2022 will be available until August 11. The registration fees, however, may be paid by August 12. Take note that only those who clear JEE Main 2022 are eligible for registration for JEE Advanced.

Candidates should first log in with their JEE Main 2022 application number and password in order to register for the JEE Advanced 2022 examination, which will be held on August 28. The registration form must then be finished, uploaded, and the application fee must be paid. The JEE Main application form will automatically fill the photo and signature sections on the online JEE Advanced application form. Moreover, candidates could choose up to 8 cities for the exam on the form.

Application papers for JEE Advanced 2022 are only made available online on the official website. The key dates for candidates to apply for JEE Advanced 2022 are listed below. Note that the JEE Advanced admit card will only be given to candidates who have successfully registered.

JEE Advanced 2022 - Eligibility

  • Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in the BE/BTech Paper of JEE (Main) 2022.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1997. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e, these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1992.
  • A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
  • A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2021 or 2022 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past.

JEE Advanced 2022 - Application Fees

Candidates must pay the application cost online after registering in order to submit the form. The fee payment is listed below and varies from category to category:

How to fill the JEE Advanced 2022 Application Form?

The following steps can be used by applicants to apply for JEE Advanced:

Step 1: Login

Only those who meet the JEE Main 2022 cutoff can fill out the JEE Advanced form.

Using your password and JEE Main 2022 application number, log in.

 Step 2: Fill registration form

Candidates must fill out the registration form with certain information. The JEE Main 2022 database will automatically prefill the form with JEE Main information.

Candidates must fill requirements in the form pictured below:

 Step 3: Upload scanned documents

Next, candidates must input the scanned papers in accordance with the requirements as listed above:

 Step 4: Pay the application fee

Candidates must then submit the appropriate application fee. The available payment methods are  online and offline.

 Step 5: Download and print the registration receipt

Print the registration confirmation to serve as evidence of your JEE Advanced 2022 registration.

 

Details to be Filled in JEE Advanced 2022 Application Form

The JEE Advanced form needs to have the following information filled out:

  • Class 12th/ qualifying exam passed institution details
  • JEE Advanced first try year
  • Paramilitary ward or not
  • Do you have colour blindness?
  • Do you see with one eye?
  • Are you classified as a PWD?
  • Cities chosen for exams in order of priority
  • Full details for communication

How to pay the JEE Advanced 2022 application fee in online mode

The option to “Pay Registration Fee” will be available to candidates after completing the JEE Advanced Application Form.

Candidates must click “Pay Registration Fee” before the system immediately reroutes them to the State Bank of India Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) website, where they can make their payment via debit card, credit card, or internet banking.

  • Candidates may choose from any of the various alternatives, including debit card, credit card, internet banking, and e-challan, according to their convenience.
  • Candidates will be able to print the “Registration Details” with a specific JEE Advanced registration number 2022 when a valid payment has been received.

How to pay JEE Advanced 2022 application fee in offline mode?

  • The option to “Pay Registration Fee” will be available to candidates after completing the JEE Advanced Application Form.
  • By selecting “Pay Registration Fee,” candidates will be taken to the State Bank of India Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page where they can pay the JEE Advanced 2022 application fee in cash via the SBI Branch Option.
  • Candidates must choose “SBI Branch” when making a cash payment in order for the system to produce an e-challan. Candidates must print out the system-generated e-challan and bring it to an SBI bank to pay with cash.
  • Candidates must return to this page after making payment in order to get the “Registration Details” with a specific registration number.
