The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the IBPS PO 2022 Exam to identify qualified candidates for the position of Probationary Officers in various public sector banks in India. Since 2011, the IBPS PO exam has been held annually, and the 12th edition will take place in 2022. The IBPS CRP PO/MT CRP-XII 2022 is for applicants selected for the 11 public sector banks. The online registration procedure for IBPS PO 2022 began on August 2, 2022, and will continue through August 22, 2022.
All Public-Sector Banks (PNB, BOB, etc.), SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, LIC & Insurance businesses, and other Banks that are regular members of the IBPS society are served by IBPS. IBPS launched the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) in 2011 to hire officers and clerks in Indian banks, and it now accepts online applications through its official website. IBPS PO 2022 Online Application
The online registration process for the IBPS PO 2022 test will take place on ibps.in. The registration dates were declared in conjunction with the IBPS PO 2022 Notification publication on August 1, 2022. All eligible and interested candidates must register online for the recruitment process at @ibps.in, the official IBPS website. The application procedure is claimed to be finished with submitting a fully completed application form with the appropriate fee, signature upload, pictures, IBPS PO Handwritten Declaration, and documents. The three-tiered selection procedure includes online preliminary and main exams, followed by interviews. Candidates must pass each exam to be shortlisted and advance to the next round. The final selection will be based on the Mains and interview results.

The price structure for IBPS PO 2022 online application is listed below each category. Fees/Intimation payments, once paid, will NOT be reimbursed or put in reserve for any future test or selection. The application cost must be paid in full online.

IBPS PO 2022 Recruitment
Every year, Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) are hired through a Common Recruitment Process (CRP), also known as the IBPS PO test. The CRP began in 2011 and is being held for the 12th time this year, thus the formal name IBPS PO /MT CRP XII 2022. The IBPS PO selection process is divided into three parts (preliminary, mains, and interview), and the applicant must pass each one to advance to the next. The following are the key steps in the IBPS PO Recruitment Process:
- Online Preliminary Examination: IBPS shortlists a suitable number of applicants in each category based on the prerequisites for the Online Main Examination.
- Online Mains Examination: To qualify for an interview, candidates must pass the main test’s sectional and overall cutoffs.
- Interview: Interviews will be conducted by Participating Organizations and organized by the Nodal Bank in each State/UT with the assistance of IBPS.
- Final Result: The Final Result is based on the combined performance of candidates in the IBPS PO Mains and Interview Rounds.
- Provisional Allotment: The eligible candidate’s provisional allotment is published on the official website. IBPS Banks are assigned based on candidates’ preferences expressed throughout the online application process.
IBPS participates in the selection process only till the provisional allocation of banks. Following that, it is the responsibility of the different banks to notify qualified candidates of their joining dates and processes.

IBPS PO 2022 Exam Pattern
In the preliminary test, IBPS implemented different section scheduling for each section. The IBPS PO exam (CRP XI) for recruiting applicants will consist of Tier 1 or the IBPS Preliminary Exam and Tier 2 or the IBPS Mains Exam. An in-person interview follows this examination.
- Pattern of the IBPS PO Prelims Exam
The IBPS PO preliminary test will be administered online and will last 1 hour and 20 minutes for each component. It is divided into three portions, each with 100 questions and a maximum score of 100 points. The IBPS PO pre-exam has negative marking, with 0.25 points removed for each incorrect answer. To qualify for the IBPS PO Main test, candidates must score above the cut-off in all three parts. The following sections provide more information:

Candidates must pass each of the three examinations by achieving the minimum cut-off marks set by IBPS. As determined by IBPS based on the requirements, a sufficient number of applicants in each category will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination.
- Exam Pattern for IBPS PO Mains
The IBPS PO Main exam is also held online and consists of 5(4+1) parts with a total score of 200+25 marks and a total time of 180+30 minutes. In its mains test, IBPS will administer a descriptive examination to applicants for the position of Probationary Officer.
The components must be completed in the same order and within the time limit specified during the test. To be eligible for the interview procedure, a candidate must pass both the preliminary and main examinations.

Wrong Answer Penalty: There is a penalty for incorrect answers noted in the Objective Tests of both the Preliminary and Mains examinations. A candidate who incorrectly answers an objective question will be penalised one-fourth of the marks awarded to that question. For example, a penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrectly answering a question worth 1 mark. There will be no penalty for leaving a question blank, i.e., if the candidate does not indicate a response.

IBPS PO Mains Examination The IBPS PO Mains Exam is divided into five sections: reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, and computer aptitude.
IBPS PO 2022 Salary
An IBPS Probationary Officer’s starting pay is Rs. 52,000 to 55,000, plus dearness allowances, special allowances, and other perks. The first base pay of a PO is Rs. 36,000 as per the salary adjustment.

IBPS PO 2022 Admit Card & Call Letter
Candidates must obtain the IBPS PO 2022 admit card from the bank’s official website, as paper copies of the IBPS PO Admit Card will not be mailed to them. Candidates will need the following to access the official website:

The admit card for the IBPS PO 2022 Exam will be available 10 to 15 days before the exam. IBPS PO 2022 admit cards or call letters will be distributed in three stages:

IBPS will disclose the results once each part of the examination is completed.
