NDA Salary
The National Defence Academy (NDA) test is administered by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to select applicants for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. The perks, allowances, and other benefits included in the NDA salary are not the primary motivators for applicants to enter the Indian Defence Services. However, it is comforting that the government prioritises professional development and pays handsomely for candidates who enter the defence services through the NDA exam process.
During the training, those selected through the NDA test would be given a stipend of Rs. 56100/- each month (at pay matrix level 10). Following training, the applicant would be appointed as a Lieutenant with a salary range ranging from Rs. 56,100/- through Rs. 1,77,500/-. Following that, wage increases will be made following promotions.
