Vikram Solar was founded in 2006 by Gyanesh Chaudhary as a manufacturer of solar modules, and it has since moved into engineering, procurement and construction management and solar power plant operations and maintenance. In 2015 the company completed the first floating solar power plant in India.It is a world renowned solar power system provider. The company has claimed presence across 6 continents with top quality and performance solar modules.

The company unveiled a 1,300 megawatt greenfield facility in Chennai, taking its total capacity to 2,500 MW and becoming the biggest domestic solar panel manufacturer in the country.

The company has been continuously upgrading its responsibility to match growing solar panel system manufacturing capacity and currently stands with 2.5 GW annual module manufacturing strength. The company uses machinery and equipment from the United States, Germany, Japan,and Switzerland to manufacture solar modules.

Types Of Vikram Solar Panel

Polycrystalline Solar Panel. Poly solar panels are multi- crystal solar panels, ideal for home installations. These solar panels are well known for their consistent energy generation capacity, even in adverse weather conditions.

Poly panels are manufactured by fragments of silicon that are melted and shaped together. The solar cells in polycrystalline panels are connected in a series combination to achieve higher efficiency .These are durable and reliable too.

Monocrystalline Solar Panel. Vikram has SDOMERA named solar panel series in monocrystalline type. These modules are manufactured by high purity uniform silicon crystal.Vikram mono solar panels are specially designed to perform better even in partial shadow conditions . The half -cut technology improves the module without  increasing the cost.

Mono solar panels have a blackish appearance and are protected by tempered glass and aluminum frames. Mono solar panels are more efficient than poly panels. These are good for large solar installations.

Bifacial Solar Panel. Vikram has a PREXOS named solar panel series in bifacial type modules. These panels are the latest technology solar panels. Both sides of a bifacial solar panel are light sensitive because they are designed to absorb sunlight from both the front and rear side.

These are durable and easy to handle . These are more efficient than poly and mono panels because they capture sunlight from both sides.
