Districts as per Census 2011 in Uttar Pradesh

As of the 2011 Analysis of Districts, Allahabad is the most populous district of UP, while Mahoba is the least populated. Lucknow, the capital of UP, is named after the city of Lucknow.

The Indian Census is regarded as one of the most accurate globally. In the year 1872, India’s first census was performed. This was done at various times and in various locations around the country. In 1881, the entire nation was surveyed at the same time. Censuses have been held every 10 years since then, without fail. Thus, 2011 (Analysis of Districts) Census of India was the fifteenth in a continuous series that began in 1872, the seventh following independence, and the second of the third millennium and the twenty-first century. Despite several setbacks like wars, diseases, natural disasters, political upheaval, and so on, the census has been conducted without interruption.

Conclusion

Before Census 2001, information was collected by an Individual Slip, which was a key schedule for each individual. The data gathered through Districts as per census 2011 slips were then assembled for a family. In addition, some information on the home was gathered. A complete Household Schedule replaced the individual slip approach during the 2001 Census. A similar home plan was employed for canvassing in the 2011 Census. Every census has broadened the scope of demographic and socioeconomic factors.
