Ashok Gehlot

His birthplace is Jodhpur, Rajasthan, born on May 3, 1951. He is indeed a politician in India who is now the Chief Minister in Rajasthan. He served as Rajasthan’s Chief Minister twice, from 1998 to 2003 and from 2008 to 2013. He has also held the position of Union Minister on several occasions. He was initially appointed to the 7th Legislative Council from the parliamentary seat of Jodhpur in 1980.

From 1998 to 2003, and from 2008 to 2013, Ashok Gehlot served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan twice. Former Indian Prime Ministers Rajiv Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, and P.V. Narasimha Rao worked in his Union Cabinet. He also has worked three times in the Union Cabinet. From September 2, 1982, until February 7, 1984, he served as the Union Deputy Director of Civil Aviation and Tourism. Between February 7, 1984, through October 31, 1984, he was the Former Minister of Sports. He was appointed Union Ministry of Textiles with State Autonomous Responsibility.

Vasundhara Raje

Serving Years: 13/12/2013 – 16/12/2018;

Party – Bharatiya Janata Party

Vasundhara Raje was born on March 8, 1953. This same BJP leader served as Chief Minister of Rajasthan multiple times, from 2003 to 2008 and 2013 to 2018. She was first appointed to the Rajasthan Legislature in 1985 and then to the 9th Legislative Council in 1989. Vasundhara Raje was Rajasthan’s first female Chief Minister.

Bhairon Singh Shekhawat

Serving Years: 4/12/1993 – 29/11/1998;

4/3/1990 – 15/12/1992;

22/6/1977 – 16/2/1980

Bhairon Singh Shekhawat served as India’s eleventh Vice President. He has been in that post since August 2002, since a voting system chose him for five years. 

Hari Dev Joshi

Serving Years: 4/12/1989 – 4/3/1990;

11/8/1973 – 29/4/1977

Hari Deo Joshi was indeed a politician and liberation activist in India. He had been born in the hamlet of Khandu, nearby Banswara. Throughout Rajasthan, he had become the leader of the Indian National Congress.

Shiv Charan Mathur

Serving Years: 20/1/1988 – 4/12/1989;

14/7/1981 – 23/2/1985

Party – Indian National Congress

India’s Shiv Charan Mathur served as a politician. Between 1981 to 1985 from 1988 to 1989, he also functioned as Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Afterwards, between 2008 to 2009, he was the Governor of Assam.

Barkatullah Khan

Barkatullah Khan was the head of the Indian National Congress and an Indian legislator from Rajasthan. He got elected to the Rajasthan state legislature from the Jodhpur area.

Mohan Lal Sukhadia 

Serving Years: 26/4/1967 – 9/7/1971

Although Mohan Lal Sukhadia was 38 years old, he was Chief Minister of Rajasthan and was responsible for major changes and reforms. He is often referred to as the “Father of Modern Rajasthan.”

Tika Ram Paliwal

Serving Years: 3/3/1952 – 31/10/1952

Party – Indian National Congress

Tika Ram Paliwal was indeed an Indian politician who served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan between March 3, 1952, and October 31, 1952. He was elected to the Mahuwa Legislative Assembly twice, in 1952 and 1957. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Hindaun as just an outsider member in 1962.

Cadambi Sheshachar Venkatachar served as the Chief Minister for Rajasthan, India, from January 6, 1951, until April 25, 1951. Underneath the title “Testimony to the Century,” a collection of his essays compiled by K.M. Acharya with S. Sapru was released.

Heera Lal Shashtri

Serving Years: 7/4/1949 – 5/1/1951

Party – Indian National Congress

Pandit Hiralal Shastri was an Indian politician and the first Chief Minister in Rajasthan. He entered the Jaipur Rajya Praja Mandal around 1937 and was subsequently chosen as its General Secretary and Chairperson. In 1939, he conducted the Satyagraha again for Praja Mandal’s civil freedoms and was imprisoned for six months. He was chosen Secretary-General of an All India State Peoples Assembly in 1947. The same year, he was appointed to the New Parliament.

Conclusion

Rajasthan has had 13 different Chief Ministers since 1949. Vasundhara Raje Scindia, a member of the Bjp, is the state’s sole female chief minister. Ashok Gehlot of the Indian National Congress entered office on December 17, 2018, after gaining support in the 2018 assembly polls.
